The Professor Haq Nawaz Foundation for International Medical Graduates was established in 2024 by Dr. Gulnar HaqNawaz, his wife of 53 years, to continue his legacy of enhancing the careers and knowledge base of existing healthcare professionals of Pakistani origin. The Foundation aims to provide professionals with opportunities to obtain medical licensing through providing resources to advance their efforts in obtaining medical licensure and education in the United States & United Kingdom. The foundation hosts regular seminars, workshops, and support groups for medical students, professionals, and anyone who has passed the USMLE STEP 1 Exam and is scoring well on USMLE STEP 2 Mock exams the USMLE Step 2 or PLAB Examinations due to financial constraints. Through its efforts, the foundation aims to honor Professor Nawaz's lifelong dedication to medicine, education and Young Pakistani Physicians.

Unanimously Elected to Highest Office of Postgraduate Medical Education: Prof Haq Becomes Youngest President CPSP
“Unanimously elected President of CPSP, the Academic Council amended the bylaws to set the age of the President at 45yrs of age from 50yrs. This decision by the highest governing educational body of the country allowed the Professor to lead Pakistan to international reciprocity and accreditation.”
